a snow cat glooming and maintaining the
light and soft texture of snow every night.

Located at 1,300m elevation and surrounded
by suitable slopes and beech forests,
it is possible to maintain the excellent
snow quality through out the season.

Hotel APPI Grand, APPI Hills, and the Forest of Shirakaba are
available. Inside the hotel, there are variety of facilities for families
such as karaoke, restaurants, and hot springs.

Various Ryokan and hotels are located in ZAO Onsen Village.
There are many choices of hotels and Ryokans offering features
suitable for friends, couples or families.

Hotel APPI Grand has a large public bath
and a private spa. Inside the APPI Plateau Onsen
Hotel, there are different kinds of
outdoor bath and a spacious public bath with
sauna. In addition, there are various hot
springs near the APPI Plateau such as
Azumi onsen and Frontier onsen.

ZAO is famous for skiing as well as hot
springs. There are outdoor bath and a large
public bath inside the hotel and you can
enjoy the view of nature. Even if you
can’t stay over night, you can enjoy
one day hot spring facilities such as
foot spa.

Snow-play experience and snow cat tour for kids
in addition to variety of winter activities
such as snowboarding and snow shoe tours are
available. There is a new outdoor activity

who can communicate in English or

Renting of the latest equipment is available
in Jupeer base center located at the bottom
of the Uwanodai slope. In addition, rental
services and lessons are offered at select
accommodation site.

and Curry are available at the food
court. Hotels offer a wide range of
dining choices from buffet, Japanese
food, Western food, Yakiniku, Chinese
food, and Izakaya.

The food court on the slope offers
various menus and you can enjoy unique
dishes at many Ryokans or hotels.
