Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic Alert (Feb. 27 00:00 JST)
The Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and other government agencies are working in conjunction with airport companies to detect and stop the spread of the virus at Sendai Airport.
When coming to the airport, please observe and cooperate with the followings.
【Notice from the Immigration Services Agency of Japan】
Following the spread of COVID-19 infection, the coverage of the entry ban has been expanded.
The following individuals are not permitted to enter into Japan for the time being except in special circumstances.
・Foreign nationals who have travelled to Hubei or Zhejiang Province in the People’s Republic of China within 14 days before arriving Japan.
・Foreign nationals who hold a passport issued in Hubei or Zhejiang Province in the People’s Republic of China.
・Foreign nationals who have travelled to Daegu or Cheongdo County in North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea within 14 days
before arriving Japan.
【Visitors from China (including Hong Kong and Macau) and South Korea Entering Japan】
・Please notify the quarantine officer if you have been in Hubei or Zhejiang Province in China,
or Daegu or Cheongdo County in North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea in the last 14 days.
・If you have a cough, fever or other symptoms, or if you are taking cough medicine or an antipyretic (fever reducer),
please report to the quarantine officer upon entering the country.
・If you have developed the abovementioned symptoms after entering Japan and you have been in or traveled through Hubei
or Zhejiang in China, or Daegu or Cheongdo County in North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea,
please contact “Consultation_Center” and inform the center that you have been in China (Hubei or Zhejiang Province) or
South Korea (Daegu or Cheongdo County in North Gyeongsang Province).
Please wear a face mask when you visit a medical clinic that the center refers you to.

【Precautionary Measures in the Airport】
・Airport staff are being encouraged to wear face masks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
・We ask you to be conscientious about washing your hands, wearing a face mask and covering your nose and mouth when you cough
in order to prevent the spread of infection.
・We encourage you to use the hand sanitizers placed in various locations at the passenger terminal building.
