Our offerings include a number of products using local foodstuffs fostered in the rich Tohoku culture. “Sendai Naganasu-zuke” or pickled long eggplant is a local specialty of Sendai, characterized by its elegant flavor derived from the ingredients. Pickles of locally produced vegetables particularly for local consumption, including daikon radish, nappa cabbage and cucumber, “Iburigakko,” an Akita’s specialty, and “tama-konjaku” from Yamagata, among others, are also available. In addition, some of the branded rice varieties representative of Tohoku, such as sasanishiki, hitomebore and tsuyahime, are sold here. Enjoy the tastes of the various areas of Tohoku.

Soaked in light soy sauce, it is finished without added colors. The fleshy eggplant with little bitterness is recommended to those who do not really like eggplant.
