Q3Is the Sendai Airport Terminal Building near the Airport Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line?

The Airport Station is connected to the 2F Domestic Departure Check-In Lobby side via a connecting walkway.
When you have entered the Sendai Airport Terminal Building via the connecting walkway from the station, you can find the Check-in Counters of airlines in front of you.
It takes about four minutes.

Q4How much is the car parking within the airport grounds? Is a discount offered?

Q5Can I bring pets into the Terminal Building?
If they are put in a cage or hugged in your arms, please bring them into the Terminal Building.
(except guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs)
Q6Can I rent a wheelchair?

Wheelchairs are available to lend at the General Information Center.
If you cannot come to the General Information Center, please call by intercom installed at the car stop zone for disabled people getting on/off on the roadway in front of the Terminal Building.

* To departing passengers:
Please note that wheelchairs lent to you at the General Information Center can be used up to the entrance of the security checkpoint.
You need to change it to the wheelchair owned by the airline you are boarding on. Please contact the relevant airline in advance.

Q7Is there a vehicle stop zone for immediate pick-up/drop-off?
There is a stop zone on the general lane in front of the Terminal Building.
Please note that you are not allowed to park there.
Q8Is there a place where I can watch aircrafts taking-off and landing?

There is an observation deck “Smile Terrace” on the rooftop. Please use the dedicated elevator or stairs to access to the observation deck.
* There is no toilet on the observation deck. Access will be limited during bad weather.

You can send and receive a FAX message at the Business Lounges located on the Third Floor.
Please let the lounge staff know when you use it.

Q11Is there a place where I can recharge the battery in my cell phone?

Battery chargers are provided for a fee (200 yen per 30 minutes).

One unit is provided next to the public telephone booth opposite the 2F Domestic Departure Gates.

Q12Is there a place where I can store carry-on luggage temporarily?

Please use coin lockers provided in the lobby on the First Floor and the Second Floor (at both ends).

The fee is 400 yen for medium and 500 yen for large lockers for the first 12 hours, then 400 yen for medium and 500 yen for large lockers for each subsequent 24 hour period.

Q20Where can I claim my cargos or pets?

You cannot claim them in the Airport Terminal Building. You can claim them at the dedicated cargo facility in the airport premises.

Q21Can I purchase overseas traveler’s insurance at the airport?

You can purchase it at the Group Travelers Service Counter (Travel Marketing & Assistance Inc.) in the International Arrival Lobby on the First Floor.

Application procedures begins from 3 hours before the departure of first international flight (including charter flights and extraordinary flights except for scheduled flights) and ends 30 minutes before the departure of the last international flight.
(You can not apply it on days where there is no international flight)
