Q3Is the Sendai Airport Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line near the Sendai Airport Terminal Building?

It takes approximately 3 minutes to get there.

The Domestic Departure Lobby on the 2nd floor connects directly to Sendai Airport Station via a walkway, so you can get from one to the other without stairs or other barriers.

Q5Can I bring pets into the Terminal Building?

Bringing animals into the Terminal Building is not permitted.

However, exceptions are made for service dogs such as guide dogs and hearing dogs, as well as for pets to be handled by airlines as cargo.

Pets to be handled by airlines are to be kept in cages or other suitable enclosures and taken to the Check-In Counter promptly upon arrival.

Q6Are there strollers and wheelchairs available for use?

Strollers for children between 2 months and 3 years of age are available at Entrances 2 and 3 on the 1st floor (2 strollers available at each location). (free of charge)

Note: Please return strollers to the designated location.
Those departing on flights from Sendai Airport may also use rented strollers in the concourse areas beyond the security inspection points.

Q8Is there a vehicle stop zone for immediate pick-up/drop-off?

For the sake of road safety management, etc., parking is prohibited in front of the Terminal Building, with exceptions made only for drop-offs.

When taking or picking someone up by car, please use the No. 1 Parking Lot (free of charge for 1 hour).

Q9Is there a place where I can watch the airplanes take off and land?

There is an observation deck “Smile Terrace” on the rooftop. Please use the dedicated elevator or stairs to access to the observation deck.
Note: There are no lavatory facilities available on the observation deck. Entry may be restricted in the event of inclement weather.

Q13Is there a place where I can store carry-on luggage temporarily?

Please use coin lockers provided in the lobby on the First Floor and the Second Floor (at both ends).

Usage fees for up to 12 hours are \300 for small, \400 for medium, \500 for large, \600 for extra large, and \800 for bicycle box lockers. Additional fees will be added for every 24-hour period beyond the initial 12 hours.
